Before this evening’s home game with the Giants, the Cubs announced that they have placed starting pitcher Yu Darvish on the disabled list with right triceps tendonitis. They have recalled left-handed pitcher Randy Rosario from Triple-A Iowa. The move on Darvish is retroactive to May 23. so he’s eligible to come off the disabled list on June 2.
