Kansas City Royals middle infield prospect Jack Lopez bats for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals during May 30-June 1, 2018 Texas League (Double-A) games against the Frisco RoughRiders (Texas Rangers) in at Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, Texas. A Puerto Rico native drafted out of a high school in Florida by the Kansas City Royals, Jack Lopez is a versatile defender who has played quite a bit at third base, shortstop, and second base across his career. In 2018, over 113 games split between Double-A Northwest Arkansas and Triple-A Omaha, Jack Lopez hit .261/.313/.339/.652 with 14 doubles, five home runs, and 20 stolen bases over 425 at-bats. In this video, you can see ten of his at-bats during Texas League play in late May and early June.
